With deep roots in the area, our pharmacy has grown by bringing together trusted locations to better serve our patients with expanded access and enhanced care. While our name has evolved, our commitment remains the same — providing personalized, affordable healthcare with a friendly, hometown touch.

Meet Our Staff

Allan Wall, RPh

- Wall Drugs of Johnsonville, Pharmacist-in-Charge
Allan Wall is a dedicated community pharmacist with more than 26 years of experience serving the Pee Dee Region. A proud graduate of Johnsonville High School, Allan earned his degree from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 1997.
In 2002, he founded Wall Drugs of Johnsonville with a mission to provide personalized, patient-centered care to his hometown. He expanded that mission in 2020 with the opening of Wall Drugs of Pamplico, continuing to bring trusted, local pharmacy services to surrounding communities. Allan is known for building lasting relationships with his patients and ensuring each person receives attentive, compassionate care.
Looking ahead, Allan is excited for his son, Zack, to join the team at Wall Drugs of Florence in June 2027 after graduating from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy.
Outside the pharmacy, Allan enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. He is also a proud supporter of Gamecock athletics.

Kellie White Douglas, PharmD

Kellie White Douglas is a Pamplico native and graduate of Johnsonville High School who discovered her passion for pharmacy at just 16 years old while working as a clerk at Wall Drugs. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2015.
Kellie began her career serving the Florence and Pamplico area in 2015 as a pharmacist with Long’s Drugs. There, she gained valuable experience helping improve patient access to quality healthcare through various programs and resources.
Upon the opening of our Pamplico location in 2020, she returned to her Wall Drugs roots as Pharmacy Manager there. Kellie is passionate about improving her community's access to quality healthcare and strives each day to care for her patients as she would her own family.
She lives in Pamplico with her husband and their two sons and is actively involved in her community. Kellie considers it a blessing to care for and serve the people of her hometown.

Michael Porter, RPh
Wall Drugs of Florence, Pharmacist-in-Charge
Michael opened Medicine Mart in 1984 and has been dedicated to serving the Florence community ever since. A Florence native, he has a deep love for the area and the people he serves.
He received his degree from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and has built his career around caring for his community.
Michael is the father of four children and enjoys spending time with family, attending church, and being outdoors—especially hunting, surfing, fishing, and playing golf.

April Newell, PharmD
Wall Drugs of Johnsonville, Pharmacist
Dr. April Newell has been a dedicated pharmacist with Wall Drugs since 2003. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina in 2002. Prior to pharmacy school, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Francis Marion University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Biology.
April’s passion lies in being an independent community pharmacist. While she has experience working in other chain and hospital pharmacies across the Pee Dee region, her heart has always been with the Johnsonville community at Wall Drugs.
She is married to Daniel Newell, and they have three children: Lauren, Layla, and Brice. In her free time, April enjoys spending time at the lake or beach, swimming, and searching for gems.

Karen Singletary, RPh
Wall Drugs of Florence, Pharmacist
Karen has been a valued member of the Medicine Mart team since 1997. A Pamplico native, she is passionate about serving and building meaningful connections within the Florence community. She earned her degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in Charleston.
Karen is the proud mother of two children and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially horseback riding.
